I joined others in the Pondering Pig Kiva Investment group to help fund Ivonne Soincilier in Trou-du-Nord , Haiti. Ivonne makes candles and sells them to people who don't have electricity. Betcha there is a market there! Ivonne is going to use this money to purchase a stall to sell from, so she doesn't have to walk around with a cardboard box. I'm thinking that is going to totally change her life, from being nomadic to proud owner of a permant stall.
