I made two loans today to Julianas. One is in Nicaragua. Juliana Antonia is 53 years old and is still active at her age. She sells sodas and has been working in this business for 3 years. She started this buisness in her home since the majority of her clients live within her neighborhood and know her. She is well liked by her clients for the charisma she offers them. She is requesting this loan to purchase fruits, juices, sodas, and sweets. Her desire is to extend her business.
The other Juliana is in the Sudan. Juliana Jackline is currently in
the business of selling charcoal at home and is requesting a loan to stock more bags of charcoal to sell. Juliana is 41 years old and married. Her husband is a peasant. She has four children and her children go to school. With the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to send her children to school.
