Vegetarian Journal

I paid for two year membership in the Vegetarian Resource Group. The VRG's goals are to educate the public on vegetarianism and the interrelated issues of health, nutrition, ecology, ethics, and world hunger. They publish a journal that is quite informative and contains peer-reviewed science. They also sell cookbooks, and provide a lot of information to schools, institutions, and anyone else interested in the vegetarian diet. I think I've been a member since I moved to the US, in 1989. The journal has become a lot fancier. There are also really good recipes inside, I think they are all vegan. I'm not a vegan, but I've been a vegetarian since 1984.

Vegetarian Resource Group

I just renewed my membership to the Vegetarian Resource Group. I've been a member for over a decade and have enjoyed watching them grow and prosper. They do good work, they do a lot of consulting to schools and individuals. I have read many of their publications, and enjoy the journal that has great articles as well as recipes. All that and its tax deductable!
