I made a loan to Nelly in Peru today for her used clothing business.

Hi Julia

I left you this same note on KivaFriends, but just in case you don't get alerted to messages there, I figured I'd leave a comment here as well.

I was amazed to see how many loans you've made and I was really inspired by your passion for Kiva. About two years ago, laid the foundation for a partnership with Kiva and it just launched in April. You may already be familiar with it, but if not, I wanted to be sure to let you know as I'd be very interested to get your feedback. The KivaB4B Project is a first of its kind for Kiva. It's basically a matching program. Advanta empowers its customers (nearly 1.5 million) to 'double the impact' of Kiva loans. Anytime a lender uses their Advanta credit card (or the new KivaB4B card) to make a loan, Advanta will match it - dollar for dollar - up to $200 per month per account. Additionally, Advanta gave Kiva $100,000 and gives them a donation for every new card activated. You can check out the project at www.kivab4b.com...and we have a blog at b4bcommunity.org.

Look forward to hearing back from you and take good care.
