I made my first donation to someone on modest needs . org. It was recommended from facebook. It's a site where people can ask for a bit of help to keep them going over the edge.
I think that's important. So many people live so close to falling.
This is the one I donated to. It's a veteran who is about to go homeless and lose their companion animals. This would spiral the person downhill fast. Helping them at this point in their lives would really change it.
