I was at a science conference for a week, presenting research and learning.
I had the opportunity to support the Easter Seals, a lady was selling scarfs in a pub I was at. They were mostly fleece and she had them hanging from hangers on the wall, with a sign. She made $1200 last year. Figured out a way of making money while doing what she liked to do and was doing anyhow. I bought a few and gave them away and they were very appreciated. It was a win-win-win-win situation.
